Elway, a golden retriever used in drug detection at SFO, was 14-years-old.

Elway was named after quarterback John Elway.

The canine was one of the top drug hounds in Northern California. During his career, he sniffed out more than $5 million in cash and drugs, including 315 pounds of marijuana and $165,000 in cash -- in just one day.
