Craigslist revenue to reach $100 million

It appears recent controversy over Craigslist's erotic services section aren't stopping the company from making money. A new study says the Bay Area based Web site is thriving.

Craigslist's revenue is on pace to rise 23 percent this year, to reach $100 million for the first time ever.

That's according to an analysis by Advanced Interactive Media Group.

The bulk of the revenue is believed to come from only a few ads the company does charge for in major U.S. markets, for example - "help-wanted" ads.
