SF firefighters rally against more cuts

Major public safety cuts, proposed this week the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, have prompted firefighters to launch a "save the firehouse" campaign.

Firefighters and others staged a rally at Broadway and Polk to show their opposition to committee's plan to cut $23 million from the fire budget.

Fire officials say those cuts could result in the loss of 173 firefighters, and the closing of 12 fire stations.
