A new study out of UC Berkeley finds that children are more susceptible to the toxic effects of pesticides, for a much longer period than previously thought.
Researchers already knew that infants have less of a critical enzyme that protects against pesticide contamination.
The Berkeley study found that some children still lack enough of that enzyme at 7-years-old.
