Laptop works after being eaten by tiger

Panasonic has new reason to claim its Toughbook laptop computer is among the most rugged and reliable.

The editors of Forbes Magazine recently decided to put it to the test. They gave it to the white tigers at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo. Next stop, the elephant pen where it was stepped on, dropped and tossed. The testers then took it to a firing range in South San Francisco. It worked even after being hit by a 22-caliber bullet.

In fact, the computer failed just one test -- it wouldn't turn back on after being hit by a 45-caliber bullet.
