Officers responded to a report of an armed robbery in a parking lot at 2151 N. Texas St. at around 7:45 p.m. Monday.

A Fairfield woman told police she had been robbed at gunpoint by two people she knew, and provided officers with the license plate of their car, a Chevrolet Impala.

Officers spotted the car and followed it to a parking stall near the Matt Garcia Youth Center in the 1800 block of North Texas Street, where the driver and passenger were arrested, police said.

The suspects, 18-year-old Amanda Lee and a 17-year-old boy, both Fairfield residents, were booked on charges of armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery.
