Fogging to take place in Oakley

The Contra Costa Mosquito and Vector Control District will fog by truck tonight to control adult mosquitoes in Oakley with the aim of preventing the spread of the West Nile virus.

Fogging will begin at about 8:30 p.m. and continue until about 10 p.m., weather permitting.

The area to be sprayed is bounded by Sandmound Round on the east, Harborage Court and Harborage Way on the south, Sycamore Drive on the west and East Cypress Road on the north.

The spraying will begin at the intersection of Bethel Island Road and East Cypress Road.
