Tuesday, the San Francisco Transportation Authority approved a report that recommends two test projects.
One would force drivers traveling eastbound on Market to turn right onto Eighth Street. The other would prohibit cars from turning left onto Market from Hyde Street.
No date for the tests has been set, although it could be within the next few months.
