More than 2,000 people applied for an open witch position at Wookey Hole, a tourist attraction in England. Wannabe witches were judged on their costume and character.

The eventual winner used to work as a real estate agent.

"Obviously you have to have a little bit of witchiness to sell houses in this current day and age," new witch Carole Bohanan said.

There are some good perks. It pays a little more than $80,000 (US) a year. On the downside, they have to work weekends and holidays -- and their office is a dark cave.
