Student found stabbed at Live Oak High

Officers went to the school at 1708 F St. at about 2:55 p.m. on reports of a student who had been stabbed, according to police. The incident happened after school had let out and it was not immediately clear exactly where the stabbing occurred, police said.

The victim was taken to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek to be treated for a stab wound to his torso and police did not release his condition.

No suspect information was immediately available.
