The fire was reported at 9:27 a.m. on a fire trail west of Ptarmigan Drive.
Contra Costa County firefighters, with help from Cal Fire, had the blaze contained at 10:35 a.m., the dispatcher said.
There were no reports of evacuations or homes threatened, the dispatcher said.
One firefighter reported an ankle injury, but no other injuries have been reported.
