Hasanni's foster father reported that he disappeared from Oakland's Rockridge neighborhood on August 10th.
Alameda County and the city of San Francisco each added $250,000 to that fund on Thursday. San Francisco added to the reward because Hasanni's birth family lives there.
Prosecutors say they don't have enough evidence to charge his foster parents after Oakland police arrested them for his murder last Friday.
