The crash was reported at about 11:50 a.m. at 4111 Stony Point Road near Scenic Avenue, Sonoma County fire dispatcher Ron Marsh said
Initial reports indicated that two people were trapped in a burning vehicle and three others were ejected from a car, Marsh said.
Four ambulances and a medical helicopter responded, Marsh said.
Stony Point Road has been closed from Scenic Avenue to Todd Road, the California Highway Patrol said.
