Protests mark celebration of Chinese anniversary

Chinese-Americans living in the Bay Area marked the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China Sunday.

In San Francisco, protesters gathered outside a celebration being held at the Cow Palace. They claim the communist party's rule has been failure, particularly for the people of Tibet.

Supporters of the party say it has helped improve citizen's lives since being founded in 1949.
