The city will get about $56 million in federal stimulus money. One of the projects that will get stimulus funds is the Alma Street Repaving Project.
San Jose will get $15 million to repair 19 miles of roadway.
Nearly $9 million will be provided to install energy efficient lights and solar thermal systems on city government properties. And $6.5 million will be spent to recycle water at San Jose State University, San Jose Mineta Airport and city parks and schools.
