They are hoping to repair two leaky spots before the evening commute, SFPUC spokesman Tony Winnicker said.
The pipe, which runs beneath the upper deck of the bridge between the Fremont Street exit in San Francisco and Treasure Island, sprang the leaks at about 10 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
