Action abounds in all the new episodes. It is like a 22-minute movie every week.
"If you're going to reach for something and try to make it great, you have to accept there's going to be a challenge," says supervising director Dave Filoni.
It is all created at the Big Rock Ranch on Lucas Valley Road.
Interest in the second season and the video game have brought out press from around the world. And, just when you think you know everything about Clone Wars, here comes a menacing new twist --one of the new bad guys known as Cad Bane.
A new video called "Republic Heroes" has also been announced.
"We're not approaching it to do something that's photo real, we want to do something that looks like it's drawn," says CG supervisor Josh Aron.
Even with so many people involved, the series is still George Lucas' concept.
"I work with George all the time," Filoni says. "George is involved at the very beginning."
And, he has constant input.
"He watches it in a rough phase," Filoni explains.
It is sent to Singapore to create the final product.
"Then, it gets animated. Then, he watches it again when it comes back in color," he continues.
Each show has a message, something to think about.
Ashley Eckstein, whose husband is Padres second baseman David Eckstein, says, "It's a positive teaching tool for parents."
Actor Dee Bradley Baker has been working to come up with a "clone sound" which viewers can listen for when the Clone Wars TV show starts Friday on the Cartoon Network. The video game will be released October 6.
