It is the 17th annual Pool Toss to benefit the Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation's after school program.
The pool toss is being held at the Phoenix Hotel on Eddy Street, starting at 6 p.m.
Some of the celebrities include members of the Oakland Raiders.
Donors pay to see those folks get tossed into the pool.
The afterschool program provides a safe place in the tenderloin for children, who get tutoring, learn computers and get mentoring for college.
