Researchers studied nearly 7,000 married couples and found that many wives felt more affection after seeing their men mopping the floor or doing the dishes.

However, women say they do not know how attractive it is for the husbands to see them dusting, vacuuming and doing laundry.

The study can be found online in the Journal of Family Issues.
