Pandas to wed at Taipei zoo

The 5-year-old pandas arrived at the Taipei zoo nearly one year ago and plan to marry next February.

Zoo staff are conditioning the animals for mating with a special feeding routine that includes hanging apples from ropes and placing biscuits in tunnels to build the pandas' leg power.

Both pandas feed six times a day, with each meal involving more than 20 minutes of exercise.
