Church needs new van for delivery program

The van was a lifeline for the Zion Tabernacle Church's food give-away program, but its engine burned up before they even had a chance to use it.

"We've been doing this so long everybody around here know us, cause they all come when they need, but we were planning a big Thanksgiving and Christmas thing but as you can see, I have to beg for a ride from different people," food delivery volunteer Naomi Burton said. Burton has been involved with the program for 22 years.

The program provides meals for more than 200 families every week.
