The City Council voted unanimously Tuesday to try to find an NBA team for the H.P. Pavilion.
The city says a pro sports franchise -- in addition to the Sharks -- would enhance the Pavilion's long term success and be an economic boost for downtown.
No teams were mentioned by name, but the financially strapped Sacramento Kings may be interested in moving.
