Officials have announced a security upgrade at San Francisco International Airport, using $5 million in federal money.

The grant from the Transportation Security Administration will be used to revamp and expand the airport's closed-circuit TV system.

The airport will install new high-definition megapixel cameras at security checkpoints and other areas. The airport already has a system of 1,000 cameras, monitored by both humans and analytic software.
