Officials launch human trafficking campaign

San Francisco officials are announcing the launch of a coalition against human trafficking Monday morning at City Hall.

District Attorney Kamala Harris, San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom and a survivor of human trafficking will be among those in attendance at the 10 a.m. event at the North Light Court.

In addition to announcing the launch of the San Francisco Collaborative Against Human Trafficking, and the start of International Human Trafficking Awareness Month, Newsom and Harris will discuss efforts they will be engaged in to strengthen state legislation.
