Richmond police have linked a seventh suspect to the gang rape of a Richmond High School student outside her homecoming dance -- a 43-year-old man.

Investigators do not believe the victim knew John Crane Jr. prior to the attack.

At 43, Crane is significantly older than the other six suspects in the attack, which took place outside Richmond High School during the homecoming dance. The youngest suspect is just 15-years-old and the others are in their late teens or mid 20s.

Crane is wanted for the rape of an unconscious person.

Police consider Crane to be armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees him should call 911 immediately.

Crane is 5 feet 11 inches tall, 190 pounds and has a slight mustache and goatee and a tattoo on his chest.

The victim was raped and beaten by a group of people while others stood on and watched on Oct. 23.
