Valentine's Day jewelry, flowers sales expected to drop

You might be disappointed this Valentine's Day, depending on what you are hoping to receive.

Market research giant IBISWorld is reporting that sales of flowers and jewelry are expected to be down about 5 percent. The sale of candy is expected to be down about 1 percent.

Dining out, on the other hand, is going to go up, as are romantic getaways, cards and clothing.

The reason may surprise you. Aside from the bad economy, IBISWorld researchers say men shop for the holiday more when Valentine's Day falls on a weekday.
