Union City man charged for Hayward murders

HAYWARD, CA

Prosecutors say 34-year-old Karl Sanft was stealing an SUV when he stabbed to death a security guard and a truck driver who may have witnessed the killing.

Sanft is being held without bail at the Santa Rita jail in Dublin.
