Two arrested in child porn investigations

VACAVILLE, CA

Lionel Tukumoeatu, 21, turned himself in on Tuesday, and Robert Weathers, 33, surrendered himself into custody Wednesday on unrelated charges, according to police. Both suspects live in Vacaville and were booked into Solano County jail.

Police obtained a search warrant and searched Tukumoeatu's home in the 1800 block of Alamo Drive on Jan. 7. Officers seized several computers, as well as computer equipment. Investigators in the police computer lab later examined the items and discovered child pornography, according to police.

Police also searched Weathers' home in the 3500 block of Harbison Drive. Officers seized computers and electronic storage devices later found to contain child pornography, according to police.

According to police, child pornography arrests are often the result of concerned citizens reporting suspicious activity to police.
