According to the Wall Street Journal, the ants were part of a mock rain forest and over the summer, they began boring tunnels inside a feeding tree.
The ant staff quickly isolated them inside their nest and began upgrading security.
They installed an eight-foot-high stump, which this time was filled with concrete, with a feeding bowl on top.
If the ants had escaped, officials say they could have damaged real trees in the rain forest.
