He earned his B.S. in Busines Administration and Master of Business Administration, with concentrations in Accounting and Finance, from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Jim takes a holistic approach to financial planning, ensuring protection of clients' assets while maximizing their net worth. He does tax, financial planning and risk management consulting for small business clients and self-employed individuals.
In addition to his CPA and CFP® certifications, Jim has a California Real Estate License, a California Property and Casualty License and Life and Health Licenses in California and other states.
Jim teaches financial planning classes, tax retirement, estates investments, fundamentals of financial planning at SF State College of Extended Learning, a joint venture with Kaplan Schweser. He is one of fewer than 25 instructors in the U.S. qualified to teach the entire six-part Certified Financial Planner comprehensive examination review.
He is an active volunteer for the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
