100 foot tall tree topples onto San Mateo home

It happened around 2 a.m., when the 60-year-old pine tree slammed onto their garage.

The cars inside were damaged, but no one was hurt. Officials say the tree had root rot from the recent rains and just enough wind to knock it down.
