Ever wanted to go inside some of those mansions in San Francisco's Pacific Heights or Predisio Heights?

Or have you wondered how a decorator would do a room if he or she had no limit on creativity. Colors, patterns, fabrics, art are meticulously combined.

That's what's behind the annual Decorator Showcase which opens on Saturday for a month.

The elegant French Normandy-style home has been transformed by 30 interior and landscape designers. The house was built in 1929. It is 4 stories with a sweeping view of the bay.

The event is an annual benefit for San Francisco University High School.
