Three teens involved in armed robbery arrested

FAIRFIELD, CA

Two suspects armed with a revolver stole a cell phone and attempted to steal a wallet from a group of teens inside a garage at about 2:55 p.m., police said.

When one of the victims resisted, the two suspects fled, along with two other suspects who had been standing across the road as "look outs," police said.

Police said they located three of the four suspects involved at around 11 a.m. on Friday, and found the .38 cal revolver allegedly used in the robbery in a subsequent search at the residence of one suspect.

All three suspects, two 15-year-olds and one 16-year-old, of Fairfield, were booked into Solano County Juvenile Hall on charges of robbery, conspiracy, criminal threats and weapons violations. The fourth suspect is still at large.

Police are offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest of this suspect. Anyone with information should call the Fairfield Police Department at (707) 428-7300 or CrimeStoppers at (707) 644-7867.
