Several of the largest U.S. food companies are teaming up with first lady Michelle Obama in a nationwide fight against childhood obesity.

The companies pledged to introduce more healthy options, cut portion sizes and slash 1 trillion calories out of their products by 2015. Mrs. Obama launched her "Let's Move" anti-obesity campaign earlier this year.

Some of the companies include General Mills, Coca-Cola, Kraft Foods and Kellogg. A non-partisan organization will evaluate how the companies' efforts affect the number of calories consumed by children and adults.
