As many as 50 percent of recently-diagnosed cancer patients have trouble sleeping and at least 70 percent of those beginning chemotherapy or radiation complain of fatigue.

But researchers at the University of Rochester say that yoga can help alleviate those problems. They divided 410 patients into two groups, one of which did yoga regularly for a month.

The yoga group reported less fatigue and better sleep than the control group.
