Rita Cepeda, 58, will take over for Rosa Perez who will retire next month.
Last week, a district investigation confirmed what the I-Team found. That Perez may have broken state laws when she hired and promoted her partner.
The two owned a home together and took paid trips, possibly in violation of district policy.
