China officials say a 3-year-old turned to beer and cigarettes to recover from a horrific accident.

Her mother says Ya Wen's personality changed after she was hit by a car and spent five days in a coma.

She says her daughter smokes up to a pack a day and drinks several glasses of beer.

In the meantime, there is an update on the 2-year-old nicotine addict in Indonesia.

His father gave Ardi Rizal his first cigarette when he was just 18 months old.

The toddler can blow smoke rings, but is too out of shape to run around with other kids.

Now, Ardi has cut his habit down from two packs to 15 cigarettes a day.

A child welfare official says Ardi is using therapy focused on playing.
