A husband shot his wife then turned the gun on himself. The couple had two children between the ages 7 and 13, but the kids were not injured and are with relatives now.
The incident began with reports of gunfire at a home in the 1700 block Mt. Hamilton Drive at about 4:30 a.m.
Police set up a perimeter around the home and sent out the SWAT team. At about 11 a.m. police entered the home and discovered the two bodies.
