San Francisco supervisors did not vote on a resolution condemning Israel for its attack on a convoy heading for the Gaza strip.

At least nine people were killed by Israeli naval commandos on May 31st. The raid targeted a flotilla carrying aide to Gaza which is under Israeli blockade.

The resolution by Supervisors John Avalos and Sophie Maxwell urges the president to actively seek an end to the blockade. People on both sides of the issue spoke at a public hearing in San Francisco Tuesday night.

After about 8 hours of commentary, the board only agreed to send the resolution to committee for further study.
