There are no obvious signs of foul play in the death of a man whose partially clothed body was found in a San Jose creek this afternoon, San Jose police Sgt. Ronnie Lopez said.

At about 2:15 p.m., firefighters and police responded to a call about a person in a creek at the Los Gatos Creek at Auzerais Avenue and Hannah Street in central San Jose.

Upon arrival officers located the body of a man, who the medical examiner's office has not yet identified.

The fire department helped pull the body up an embankment from a spot that San Jose fire Capt. Chuck Rangel estimated is about 20 to 30 feet below the road.
