Burlingame police were the first victims on June 22, when a man called in a bogus bar fight on their frequency.
Belmont and San Mateo police and the San Mateo County sheriff's department have received similar calls.
Police don't know how he's transmitting on their frequency. But they say the bogus calls are putting public safety at risk.
