Creating your own products:
  • You can take a topic you know and write about it, then save it as a PDF file ebook format.

  • Sign up for a payment system so your customers can pay you, such as Paypal, or a merchant account or a shopping cart program, such as 1shoppingcart.com.

  • Create the sales page on your website.

  • Add the buy button.

  • Set up the "delivery system" (which would be a download link for digital products.)
You can send the the link or to a page with the download link , or if you want to send the file yourself after they pay, or you can set up an autoreponder system. This is the basic process for any item you may want to sell, from digital products to hard goods or services.

Affiliate Products:

If you do not have a product of your own to sell, you can sell products for other people! All you need to do is join their affiliate program.

They will give you the codes you will need to add to your website or links you can place in emails and when people buy products through your links you get a percentage. Some examples of affiliate product programs are:
  • Amazon
  • eBay
  • godaddy
  • Google
  • Web hosting
Then there companies that actually run the affiliate programs for 1,000's of businesses. You can join them and select which products and companies you want to feature on your website and they manage all of your payments and commissions in one place. These are just a few. Selling ads on your website:

Once you start to develop a readership on your website or blogsite, you can start selling ads. This can be to people you know or anyone who may benefit from running an ad on your website. You can just run this yourself.

Other Ad Networks:

You can join an ad network such as blogads.com, chitika, blogher ad network. They will give you the codes you need to display their ads, and you place those on your site.

They will pay you depending on how many people click those ads. Googles Adsense: This is called "pay per click" and you get paid depending how many click throughs you achieve.

Membership Websites:

If you have a course, training or something to offer online, you can create a membership website. You can sell courses, or access to your forum or online support and set this up to charge a monthly fee or one-time fee. There are many methods and ways to create income online.
