Our media partners at the Santa Cruz Sentinel report that a 16-year-old from Stockton was on the new "Haunted Castle" ride when he pulled a tablecloth off a prop and onto the tracks.
The cloth on the tracks made two of the ride's cars crash.
No one was hurt, but police estimate there was $5,000 in damage.
Officers booked the teen on vandalism charges.
