This proposal goes beyond banning smoking outdoors. It would also prohibit smoking inside multi-unit housing starting next year. The ban covers carports, outdoor balconies, porches, decks and patios. It also prohibits smoking in buildings with four or more residences.
Tenants who fail to comply could be evicted.
