1 hospitalized, 2 arrested after stabbing

SANTA ROSA, CA

At about 1:50 a.m., officers were in the area of Seventh and B streets due to a large crowd leaving various nightclubs in the area. As the officers were trying to disperse the crowd, a man came up and told them he had just been stabbed, according to police.

The victim described the suspects and the direction they fled, and a search of the area ensued. Soon afterward, officers located three people who were said to be involved in the fight who were leaving a parking garage on Seventh Street near B Street.

Witnesses positively identified two men as being responsible for the stabbing. Victor Sangervasi, 22, of Rohnert Park, and Humberto Dominguez-Amador, 21, of San Rafael, were booked into Sonoma County jail on suspicion of attempted murder, police said.

The victim suffered numerous stab wounds but is expected to survive, according to police.
