Emergency crews in the East Bay have rescued a man who was trapped beneath a mini bulldozer.

Officials say the worker was in the operator's seat, unloading the bulldozer from a trailer on a steep road in Danville. That's when the machine overturned.

Firefighters had to use special rescue saws to remove the steel rollcage and safety bar that held the man in the operator's seat.

Officials say he had only minor cuts and bruises, but he was taken to the hospital as a precaution. Investigators are looking into what caused the accident.
