United and American Airlines are having a frequent flier sale. Those who are taking shorter flights, say San Francisco to Seattle can get their tickets by spending about a third less miles.
Check the fine print, every airline will have different rules, but for American you have to book your short hops by the end of this money and fly by the end of the year.
