The team's cheerleading squad, the Oakland Raiderettes, are taking over downtown Oakland's Fox Theater for a calendar release party and special public performance.
Silver pompoms will give way to swimwear for the calendar, which features photos of all 34 members of the team, widely regarded as second only to their counterparts with the Dallas Cowboys.
The squad is "one of the two most prestigious cheerleading teams in the NFL" and generates buzz beyond the Bay Area, Raiderette spokeswoman Vandana Patel said. "Exposure has continued to grow each year."
This year, the calendar is very different from previous editions "that were full of beaches and palm trees," Patel said. She declined to elaborate before Thursday's unveiling.
After the performance, the public will have a chance to take photos with the "Fabulous Females" of football.
Tickets are available for $25. The party will take place from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Fox Theater at 1807 Telegraph Ave. in Oakland.
