According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Williams, a long time supporter of medical marijuana, has met with Oakland's city attorney and at least one councilmember about the issue.
Williams is said to be proposing growing certain types of marijuana for specific illnesses. Last month the city council agreed to grant permits to four massive marijuana farms.
