There were 167 DUI arrests made from Friday night through Sunday night in the Bay Area.
Statewide , police have arrested 990 people since the Labor Day holiday weekend began. That's higher than the number of arrests made during the same period last year.
The maximum enforcement effort continues until late Tuesday night.
